Lady Elizabeth Bennington has the perfect life: she's the daughter of an earl and betrothed to her childhood friend, William Hartley, the second son of a duke. But, when her sister's indiscretion leads to an unplanned pregnancy, and the subsequent disgrace of Elizabeth's entire family, her idyllic life is thrown into disarray.
First, her fiancé is prohibited from marrying her. Then she receives word that William has been killed by thieves. To top it all off, she gets abducted by a highwayman. Can Elizabeth find love again, and with the most unlikely of people?

The Lady and the Highwayman is a short novella, approximately 45 pages long. This makes it a very quick read for those of you on the go, who want to sit and read a complete book in one sitting.
The historical romance is a charming story set in a time in which society adhered to very strict rules, and of course, someone is going to break those rules. What follows is a true love story that will keep the reader enchanted from beginning to end.
This author definitely knows what her readers like and enjoy and she delivers.
The Lady and the Highwayman will be available for purchase on April 1, 2013 (see the book icon above)
