Sophie's Run - Part 2 in the Rock Star Romance Trilogy by Nicky Wells (Giveaway, Guest Post)

Her famous star remains her rock while life takes her on a little detour…
Who says that the road towards true love is straight and even?  Sophie is certainly discovering that it is anything but.

So she has finally found the man of her dreams! Well… she knows who he is, even though she hasn’t actually quite met him yet.  But she misses her opportunity, and then her life goes crazy.  Rock star and ex-fiancé, Dan, keeps getting in the way of her new romance—even if he is just trying to be helpful.  A fire, an impromptu mini-trip with Dan, and a dreaded wedding later, Sophie is still struggling to meet the love of her life. Then, just as she is getting it together with her perfect man, best friend Rachel commits an act of unspeakable betrayal.

Sophie has had enough. Confused and distraught, she decides that it is time for radical change.  Surprising herself and shocking her friends, she embarks on a secret journey and eventually gets her life back on track.

Come on Tour with Sophie and Dan… Check out Brussels! (But no sprouts here today!!)

Hey, you! Yes, you! *waves* Thank you for coming! Yes, you’re in the right place for the launch tour of Sophie’s Run, book 2 in the Rock Star Romance Trilogy by Nicky Wells. I am Sophie and I’m delighted to meet you today. Nicky and I, we are taking our readers on tour to show you all the fabulous places featured throughout the Rock Star Romance Trilogy books. In this feature, I’m offering you a few views of Brussels.

Brussels is a great place, very vibrant and interesting. I’ve been a few times, and, significantly, twice in the course of the Rock Star Romance Trilogy. The first time, I was on tour with Tuscq. Actually… *furrows brow* If memory serves, I never quite made it to Brussels. I was called away owing to a family emergency. Yeah, that’s about right. *nods to confirm the memory, then shrugs*

Well, never mind, I did go, just recently, all on my own:

It’s amazing, really, how quickly one can unravel one’s life if one has to. I took the last Eurostar that day to Brussels before I could change my mind. I found a hotel by the station and checked in, but I couldn’t sleep. So I used their computer to do a bit of Internet searching. I wanted to go to somewhere far away, unusual, remote, isolated. I found a reference to a car-free island in the German North Sea and I had a look and I loved the sight of it all. So, I booked myself on a flight to Hamburg the next day.
(Excerpt from Sophie’s Run)

Yes, indeed. But before I left, I had a quick whizz round to take in all the sights and I also treated myself to some Moules Frites for lunch. It was amazing. So here goes ~ a quick photo tour of the European ‘capital’ ~ It’s a little like, My Travels. One Photo at a Time!

I didn’t have nearly enough time to explore the city properly and I definitely want to go back. Have you been? Did you like it? Do tell!
