Fifty Shades Freed by E.L. James

Fifty Shades Freed (Fifty Shades Trilogy)

When unworldly student Ana Steele first encountered the driven, damaged young entrepreneur Christian Grey, it sparked a sensual affair that changed both their lives irrevocably. Shocked, intrigued, and ultimately repelled by Christian’s singular sexual tastes, Ana demanded a deeper commitment; determined to keep her, Christian agreed.

Now, together, they have more—love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of infinite possibilities. But Ana always knew that loving her Fifty Shades would not be easy and being together poses challenges neither of them ever anticipated. Ana must somehow learn to share Christian’s opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own integrity, identity, or independence; Christian must somehow overcome his compulsion to control and lay to rest the horrors that blighted his past and haunt his present.

Just when it seems that together their love can conquer any obstacle, tragedy, malice and fate combine to make Ana’s worst nightmares come true. Alone and desperate, she must face down the poisoned legacy of Christian’s past.

Seductive, shocking, sad, and funny, Fifty Shades Freed is the compelling final volume in the Fifty Shades trilogy.

Fifty Shades of Grey introduces us to Christian, a messed up young man with a tumultuous past, looking for something permanent in his life – although he doesn’t realize it at the time. His life takes a 90 degree turn when Anastasia literally falls into his office. The two of them have met their match in each other and we follow along as they struggle to build a relationship.             Fifty Shades Darker picks up with more secrets from Christian’s torrid past being revealed that threaten to destroy their love. Christian and Anastasia work at picking up the pieces of their lives and attain a deeper understanding of each other; Christian, working at overcoming his past and taming his inner dominant, while awakening Ana’s inner sexual goddess.             The books build on one another as Ana works to bring Christian out of his shell. In the third and final book of the trilogy, Fifty Shades Freed, Ana’s love helps Christian overcome his self-imposed exile from love and life, allowing him to become the person she always knew he could be. Through the ups and downs of life and tragedy, a kidnapping, and childbirth, Ana and Christian find love, acceptance, and family.

This trilogy tells a beautiful love story. It has love and romance, sex and intrigue, and not for the faint of heart. E.L. James hits the mark with this one.
